Barrow Railway Station Adoption Group - This Year

Task Reports for 2025:

Our Gardening Group volunteers are meeting monthly during winter months and weekly during the rest of the year for watering and weeding.  Whilst we wait for permission and funding to be approved for projects in 2025, our group tasks will be on an 'as required' basis.

Our next task will be on  - last Sunday of each Month - tbc

We are currently waiting on permissions to be granted for a number of potential projects.

Once approval for other station projects are given, Sunday tasks will be restarted.

Approval to extend our artwork on Platform 2 has been granted and will be undertaken in 2025.
