WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The Women's Institute has been long-established in Barrow, celebrating our 75th birthday in 2024.
There are currently approximately 30 members, we are actively involved local issues and through County and National Federations we influence national and world social, economic and environmental concerns.
Meetings are held once a month on the second Wednesday starting at 7.30pm in the Function room/Skittle alley at:
The Conservative Club Function Room,
14 North St,
Barrow upon Soar,
Loughborough
LE12 8QA.
Outings are held during the year, and there is a varied programme of speakers, demonstrations, opportunities to learn new skills and join in social activities.
