Neighbourhood Watch

Following an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) of Barrow upon Soar Neighbourhood Watch Committee on 10th January 2017, in the presence of additional members of the community and a police representative, no individuals or groups came forward to continue with the work of the committee.

It therefore follows that this report will be the final issue after approximately 26 years.

The resigning Barrow upon Soar committee members would therefore now like to thank for their assistance and support:

• All current and past distributors and co-ordinators

• All past committee members and activists

• Supporting advertisers

• Barrow upon Soar Conservative Club

• BUSCA • The Parish Council

• Barrow Voice

• Teamprint of Loughborough

A series of processes are now being put into place to dispose of assets and funds which will be advised through other village publications.

For future crime information, please refer internet sources at or Also look out for Police announcements of regular meetings in the village.

For non-urgent crime reporting dial 101, where life or property is at immediate risk always call 999.

Thank you again for your attention,

Alan Reilly
