Another still life this week ( all we could find in the club house) but excellent results were achieved by all. We still need more painters! WANTED Models,
Typical Still Life Arrangements :-
As a group our aim is to increase the amount of artistic involvement in the Charnwood area, we therefore accept everybody to our meetings, there is no need to be a member of either the Bishop Beveridge Club or the Charnwood Drawing and painting Club. You could be a beginner or skilled artist, all are welcome! We work in all mediums from the usual watercolours, oils and acrylics to glass and silk painting The Barrow group is particularly blessed by having some very skilled watercolourist and two ex-art teachers dropping in from time to time.
Cost wise we only charge enough to cover our way so each session is £2.50 for non-members and £2.00 for members of Charnwood D & P Club.
Pop in to any of these meetings (bring your paints we won’t let you off that easy) you will have a friendly welcome and hopefully practice a new skill!
