Friendly, popular Everards pub, close to the River Soar. The pub serves excellent beer, and is a regular entry in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Cosy in winter with real fires. Meals are available in the bar or in the separate restaurant. The skittle alley at the rear is available for hire (£25 per night), and is used by local skittle teams in the winter season. The alley doubles as a function room. Outside, there is a terrace for summer drinking, a garden with children's play equipment and a floodlit petanque court.
