Barrow Railway Station Adoption Group - This Year

Task Reports for 2024:

Our Gardening Group volunteers are meeting monthly during winter months and weekly during the rest of the year for watering and weeding.  Whilst we wait for permission and funding to be approved for projects in 2024, our group tasks will be on a as required basis.

• June - East Midlands in Bloom Judging preparation - tbc
• May Task - Clean Steps
• April Task - Woodchip

Our next task will be on  - tbc

We are currently waiting on permissions to be granted for a number of potential projects.

Once approval for other station projects are given, Sunday tasks will be restarted.

One of the potential tasks for this work is the extension to our /artwork on Platform 2.
