What is Pilates?
- A mat work based class, using controlled flowing movement to strengthen the muscles that stabilise & support the spine to improve balance & posture,
- A progressive exercise program that will challenge your core strength resulting in better posture, mobility & flexibility and fewer aches and pains in the body,
- Traudi your Pilates coach will encourage each person to work at a suitable level to gain more confidence in their movement to lead an independent and active life.
Who is Pilates for?
- You, if you are ready to invest time in yourself, your body and wellbeing with a healthy happy back,
- You, if you want to improve posture, gain strength, mobility & flexibility through movement to allow your body to function better in everyday activities,
- Positive approach to movement, from the comfort of home, or a safe small group F2F class.
When is Pilates?
- Barrow Community Library Every Monday evening: 6:30pm to 7:30pm for Beginners and Back to Basics, and 7:45pm to 8:45pm for Improvers.
- Barrow Community Library Every Tuesday morning: 8:30am to 9:30am for Improvers and 9:45am to 10:45am also for Improvers.
- Online by Zoom Every Tuesday & Thursday on a weekly basis for mixed levels.
- 10:00am until 11:00am (Thursday ony)
- 6:00pm until 7:00pm (Tuesday and Thursday)
