Visit from Marans to Barrow June 2015
Our friends from Marans made a visit to Barrow, between the 26th and 30th of June. All stayed in the homes of our members. We had a busy and varied programme, having a guided tour of Bradgate Park and visits to Staunton Harold, Calke Abbey, and Lincoln. We also visited the Abbey Pumping station for their vintage day. In the village, four gardens were kindly opened for the French to admire, a strawberry cream tea was organised and the final get together on Monday night ended in our now traditional singsong, hilarious when we get to Head Shoulders Knees and Toes!
