Panto Group 2016 Snow White
Snow White played to nearly full houses on Friday 4th March and Sat 5th March 2016. It was extremely well received and the audience left with big smiles on their faces. We even managed to keep the show under 2.5 hours.
You can’t really pick out highlights, but the Chavs went down extremely well as a politically correct (more or less) alternatives to the dw….. Richard (as Dame Busty Cupcakes) created the script as he went along, and delighted the audience for it. We are delighted that Mac Carter won the award for best supporting actor (Wot) at the recent Panto Alliance show. And Lauren (Scaysbrook) made a charming and beautiful Snow White. And now I realise I haven’t mentioned the wonderfully bad Queen Evelyn (Graham Dunn) (wherever did you pick up those break-dancing skills?), nor Val Gillings’ wacky Wizard Blackheart, nor Bobbie Jo as the reassuring Wishing Well Fairy, Lester played by Lewis Hickey as Wot’s other half, Prince Rupert (Alex Thompson), King Hector (Chris Aston), the mirror (Carol Kenneth), the huntsman (Lily Macauley), Abi Crossley as the Minion…..and all the rest.
And thanks to all the people who work behind the scenes to make such a professional show: (Julie and Rose for all those amazing costumes) (Ceri and her back stage team) (Jonny and all the teckies)
And, of course…..WENDY MILLER for being such a brilliant Musical Director (+ her team of musicians).
And finally, Abi Crossley, our wonderful, inspirational and YOUNG Director.
Well done guys. It was a grand effort.
