1.1 Protect and enhance access to the green spaces in and around the village. 1.2 Protect the buildings and other features that give it its unique character (eg enforce the Village Design Statement, resist unsympathetic developments). 1.3 Make more use of flowers, shrubs and trees as decorative elements (cf Jerusalem roundabout and hanging baskets in the High St). 1.4 Extend the concept of the Millennium Park to other parts of the village (eg Willow Way estate). 1.5 Clean up the area around the Soar Bridge/ Deep Lock/ Proctor’s. 1.6 Keep the village cleaner generally. |
